Manuela Triggianese is Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture at TU Delft Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and member of the vision team ‘Mobilisers’ at TU Delft Transport & Mobility Institute.

Her work centers on the ‘Architecture of Mobility’—particularly stations— and collaborative design methods to address integral and transdisciplinary approaches in architectural design research and education. An architect with an international PhD Villard d’Honnecourt (TU Delft, IUAV, ETSAM, ENSA Paris-Belleville) about High-Speed Railway Stations in Europe, she was a Marie Curie research fellow at Beijing Technical University and a Postdoc at AMS Institute. She lead several projects on the future of stations and their role in metropolitan areas, such as ‘Walk-In’(Widening sustAinable mobiLity networKs: Impact on Nodes) and ‘Stations of the Future/ Gares du Futur’, a collaboration with social partners with the scope of linking Academic Research with Professional Knowledge.

She is author of numerous publications on the intersection between Architecture and Urban Mobility.
